Halloween DIY Boo Basket
Happy October! This is our favorite month around here. It’s my birthday, my oldest turns 10, Halloween, Gator Football, and cooler weather (it is still Florida).
Last month someone mentioned to me they were putting together a Boo Basket and my first thought was “what is that”?? Apparently they are very popular and the easiest way to describe it is an Easter Basket full of Fall Goodies. You all know I am all in on new fun ways to celebrate the holidays so I made 3 for my 3 daughters! Here is what I included.
First up, Fun PJs. If you follow me on Instagram you have heard me rant on how it is soooo hard to find warm weather friendly Halloween pajamas. If you live where its colder, there are a plethora of long sleeved and legged options. Well I hunted and hunted and finally found this skeleton set. It is technically for boys but don’t my girls look cute!
Next up was cute T shirts. Again, I only wanted short sleeves. I found great options at Target and settled on this Hocus Pocus themed shirt for my oldest.
To fill the baskets, I added hot coca spoons, books, themed panties, nail polish, hair bows, and earrings. I found most of these at Homegoods but there are great options at Target and Walmart.
For the personalized baskets themselves, they were an online find 5 years ago. They are still available here and have held up through many trick or treating sessions.
And that was it! I gave the girls these baskets to kick off October but they would be a fun treat anytime in the fall. Tag me on Instagram to show me your boo baskets!
Best, Melissa and Girls
